We had a great stay at the Mercure in Amsterdam. Whilst not in the city centre, it was a short walk and a metro ride into the main areas (Centraal, de Pijp, etc.). The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and the service great. Being reward customers, we were upgraded to king rooms, were given a welcome drink and had access to soft drinks from the minibar - all lovely touches. The only small concern is that a bag of snacks that we’d brought from the UK went missing from one of the rooms. We’re not sure why anybody would be desperate for a bag of honey-roasted cashews but they were in a tote bag one day, and the next they were gone. The person on the desk handled this complaint well, saying that they would speak with housekeeping. It was hard to know what to ask for in terms of compensation given this was a bit of a random issue to raise! Overall, other than the small snack hiccup, we enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Amsterdam and would stay again.

the hotel was in a great location, 5 minute walk from the metro. The hotel itself was lovely, clean with complementary drinks, shower stuff and tea and coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful and overall it was a lovely experience i will definitely be returning.

One of my best experiences of stay with the staff being extremely helpful and courteous !! Shout out to Karina at the front office (hope i have got the name right she has been with you guys only 2 months) and Asha from the restaurant were extremely helpful. Infact every staff member at the front office and restaurants were very helpful and ready to help

Another great stay at Mercure, this time Amsterdam. Check in was efficient, the person on reception was very helpful, when speaking with other members of reception they also provided excellent customer service. The room was spacious, clean and met all expectations. The bed was very comfortable and made for a great sleep. The only downside being unable to use parts of the fitness centre due to renovation, however, this cannot be helped as that is required to improve service. Overall, a great stay, I would certainly recommended this hotel. Thank you :)
